Verpeneset
There are sandy ledges to 20m, then a vertical wall to 160m (read from the echo sounder as the divers were being dropped against the cliff!). The visibility on the wall was excellent. It was rather bare, but this highlighted the large specimens of pastel-coloured bolocera anemones growing on it. We caught anglerfish on the ledges at the top of the wall. A spectacular dive. |
