Kraft
The wreck of the tug Kraft lies in 55m just N of a charted disused pipe at Haugesund, and about 200m from the shore. The vessel was pulled down when the crew were unable to release the hawser. The skipper escaped but the engineer perished. The Kraft lies upright with her bows to the SE. The hull is intact, but the wooden wheelhouse has gone. The wreck lies in the shipping channel in strongly tidal waters. |
