The Sonja was an 1828gt Swedish ore carrier mined in June
1940. I have a report that she lies at the entrance to Midtgulen in 27 fathoms.
However Lloyds War Losses reports her as having been lost SE of the
Fiskholmenes light, which I think is N of Bodø inside the Arctic Circle.
Nevertheless a sonar search might be an interesting way to while away the
surface interval if you are in the area diving the excellent wrecks
Aquila and Helga
Ferdinand.
