The Morild was a 522brt diesel powered cargo vessel which capsized
and sank when her cargo shifted. She measured 49x8x4 metres. According to
Skovheim, Morild is a former name, and she was called Heimnes at
the time of her sinking. The decking and other wooden parts have rotted away, but the hull is intact.
The wreck stands upright on the bottom. She lies close to the Schwalbe. There are strong tides and heavy boat
traffic through the narrow channel where the two wrecks lie. Slack is
approximately HW/LW +0300.
