The Anna Sofie was a 3077 brt steamship, 100x14x7 metres,
built in Newcastle in 1919 to a standard WW1 design. She was Norwegian-owned, but commandeered by the Germans during
WW2. She hit the Trollholmen just north of Haugesund in February 1944, and sank.
The wreck lies on her port side in 35-50m, and has not been salvaged. The site
is tidal, and
lies in shipping lane. Slack water is around HW/LW+0200.
